“A MAN” (Kei ISHIKAWA) World Premiere screening at the 79th Venice International Film Festival!!

“A MAN” is the latest film from upcoming director Kei ISHIKAWA (Traces of Sin, 2017 Orizzonti section at Venice International Film Festival) starring Satoshi TSUMABUKI (Traces of Sin) and Sakura ANDO (Shoplifters) and will be screened at the Orizzonti section at the 79th Venice International Film Festival!!!

Here is the comment from director Kei Ishikawa:
“I was first drawn to the simple title of A Man. I was torn; while I thought that everyone would want to make a movie out of it, I also thought that would be quite difficult. But A Man had already struck a chord with me, and I just couldn’t say no.
Satoshi Tsumabuki was such a huge help. He is unchanging yet always evolving, and I’m grateful for his courage to dive deep down into this endless journey of a story with me.
The cast reads like a Who’s Who of Japanese cinema: Sakura Ando, Masataka Kubota, Nana Seino, Hidekazu Mashima, Kazutoyo Koyabu, Taiga Nakano, Yoko Maki, and Akira Emoto. I witnessed miracle after miracle on set, and I cannot wait to deliver this film to the audience.”
