- Since the initial release in 1988, the popular "Free & Easy" series will conclude in this final episode "Free and Easy Final" which is the 22th film. After 22 years Su-san who is the Chairman of Suzuki Construction Company is working his way to survive economic down turn and Hama-chan is still going his way of enjoying fishing and family life.
- Synopsis
- The severe economic downturn has hit Suzuki Construction Company and Su-san has decided to cut all of his salary and work for free until the company turns around for profitability. Hama-chan who usually doesn't care about the corporate performance is persuaded by his wife Michiko to help Su-san out. Hama-chan uses his fishing friends to win a bid for a large construction project for the company. He is awarded the "Chairman's Award" and receives a special vacation. As usual, Hama-chan travels to Hokkaido with Su-san on a fishing trip…
